ADIDAS Originals x Farm

June 10, 2014

With the 2014 FIFA World Cup right around the corner, as in two days time, I thought it appropriate to post an outfit that is 1.) a sport inspired theme and 2.) a Brazilian collaboration.

For those of you that aren’t aware of this amazing collaboration between adidas Originals and Farm, a company from Rio de Janeiro, let me introduce the two of you…

Inspired by the bright, vibrant and playful lifestyle of the country’s capital city, Rio de Janeiro, adoro Farm have used jungle elements such as tropical flowers and birds to portray the city’s rich heritage. Results? A kaleidoscope of colours and bombastic prints in a range of clothing, from bomber jackets to purses.

How to Wear it:

I decided to team my adidas Original pieces with one of my favourite more neutral colour combos, black and gold. After all, I wanted my bombastic-bomber-jacket to be the star of the show. I chose pleather pants and a pleather peak to stick to the sporty feel and topped off the outfit with an oversized neckpiece… as if the Farm items weren’t statement enough 😉

P.S the FIFA World Cup starts on Thursday evening with the opening ceremony starting at 3:15pm, that’s 8:15pm here in South Africa. First match will be Brazil vs Croatia. Grab a friend and head down to the local bar for some football festivities.

    Hi,

Cool post, Farm is a amazing fashion brand in Brazil, with incredible patterns. One thing, Rio isn’t the capital of Brasil, it is Brasilia.

The World Cup was amazing, and the collab between Adidas and Farm continues with a winter collection. SO COOL!

    xoxo, from Brazil. ;D
