So if you haven’t been totally consumed by New York Fashion Week via social media just yet and you don’t know about Alaxander Wang’s latest collaboration you need to.
Wang will be joining the likes of Stella McCartney, Raf Simons, Rick Owens, Yohji Yamamoto, and Kanye West with a special collection with the three stripes brand: adidas.
The collection consists of unisex pieces that range between $80-$200 and consists of 84 pieces. The collection launched yesterday in NY at various pop up locations.

I’ve got my eyes on all things velvet… sigh.

It’s 10 days to go till Alexander Wang’s highly anticipated collaboration with H&M hits the shelves. This year will be H&M’s fourteenth collaboration with a designer and the first time they’ve collaborated with an American designer.
This collection definitely takes sportswear to the next level with it’s refined tailoring, a Wang trademark, and luxurious materials. Performance clothing with a function.
The 61 piece collection is said to retail between $10 to $350 and is set to launch on 6 November 2014. Online shoppers will only be allowed to purchase two items, no more.
Below are some of my favourite items from the collection, I can’t get enough of the crisscross sports top. Wang has outdone himself… yet again!
A few days ago H&M released a teaser lookbook video that feels more like a Hollywood blockbuster featuring football star Andy Carroll and supermodels Joan Smalls, Natasha Poly, Isabeli Fontana and Raquel Zimmermann.

I love how fashion has not only become more wearable in the last couple of seasons but how less in now more. Minimalism.
Take these Alexander Wang pants for example, a minimalist piece made with a luxe fabric. Something so simple and timeless it’s almost impossible to style them badly.
The minimalist trend is not attention grabbing but makes a statement effortlessly. Simplicity and luxury are combined to create an elegant effect.
Some tips for the minimalist theme: Don’t over accessorise and stick to a colour palette of black, navy, grey, cream and white.
