Two weekends ago I decided to spontaneously spoil Justin with a romantic getaway at the Treehouse in Greyton. I’ve been dying to try the place for the past two years and it’s always fully booked with the closest weekend availability in six months time. I managed to get a booking a week before for a Monday night but obviously not everyone has the luxury of taking a Monday and Tuesday off. One of the many perks of working as a freelance.
The Treehouse was everything I expected and more. Cute, secluded, quaint and oh-so-Greyton. If the pics don’t encourage you to try the Treehouse out the price might. For R600 p.p/p.n I highly recommend the Treehouse to any couple looking for a romantic getaway.

With designers and bloggers embracing the lip print this season it may be time to pucker up to this ‘funtastic’ print.
The lip print goes all the way back to the 1970’s when YSL designed a white blouse covered in a red lip print. This past season Diane Von Furstenberg, The Blonde Salad and YSL are just some of the few designers embracing this pucker print.
Is the lip print for you? Or do you prefer a more subtle print?
p.s don’t forget to highlight your own lips.

Another favourite blue shade this season alongside placid blue is dazzling blue, or better known as royal blue. Seen on the runways this season of Tommy Hilfiger, Vera Wang, Pucci, Chloe and Vivienne Westwood. Why not grab some inspo from the runway this season and embrace this colour into you own wardrobe.
The fuzzy knit, a knit that is cozy and ever so stylish. Available is a wide range of colours and prints. Pair your fuzzy knit with sleek black trousers for an elegant look or with a skater skirt and stockings for a playful look like I’ve done so below.
p.s the books featured as some of my favourite novels 🙂
