Has anyone else felt like March has been an insanely emotionally challenging month? My personal life has felt like a pan of scrambled eggs. Everything from work deadlines to challenging health obstacles I’ve never so eagerly awaited the end of a month as much as I have with March 2018. (Not that the end of a month solves anything but you know, clean slate just helps things mentally.)
At least seasons are changing and I’m grateful for that. I just adore transeasonal dressing. More layers = more fun!
Speaking of transeasonal, is there anything more versatile than a denim jacket? This one has a dark black wash and finished with light brushing and abrasions for a beautiful lived-in feel. I was clearly inspired by the 70’s and the flower power kids, embracing my inner hippy with a floral maxi dress paired with some comfy trainers for the perfect effortless street style look.

Denim overalls – the ultimate off-duty style. A.k.a coffee hunting outfit. Comfortable and adaptable for any situation or style. Also having a major crush on beret’s at the moment ever since I discovered they the perfect beanie alternative, they really do keep your ears warm!
Which look do you prefer? L.A chic flower power gal or wannabe Parisian painter?

I’m not going to beat around the bush and pretend to be all coy and cool about the fact that I’m an ELLE cover girl… because it’s freaking awesome and I totally freaked out when I found out!
I’ve been modelling for just over seven years now (gosh how time flies) and I don’t think seeing yourself on a cover ever becomes normal. Or maybe I’m just a total nerd. Either way I’m so incredibly grateful to the team for making it possible.
On another note here’s me in the latest Finish ELLE acting all smooth and cool (well trying to…) in head-to-toe denim and a muscle car to die for.
There’s nothing quite like a pair of denims that fit you just right, a pair that accentuates in all the right places. Ladies you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Over the past two years I’ve developed such a love for denim that it’s pretty much become a part of my every day to day life. So why denim?
Denim has to be the easiest fashion item to play around with. Dress them up with pair of heels and add some statement jewellery, crisp white shirt and a pair of pumps for work and hey let’s not forget the ever so popular jeans and tee combo.
In celebration of denim and all things festive River Island, along with other international brands such as Calvin Klein, Jigsaw, Dune London and Tom Tailor to name a few, are handing out little red booklets loaded with vouchers which can be used REPEATEDLY until the 24th December at all standalone flagship stores. Your very own Festive Fashion Passport filled with amazing savings to keep you smiling this holiday session.
A good excuse to buy another pair of denims, because let’s be frank, one can never have too many pairs.
Last week I attended the new MrP pop up store in Long street. I had a dinner later that night at Mondiall to try out their new menu so I needed to wear something that was a.) cool, edgy, fun – for MrP and b.) something classy and more womanly for Mondiall. So I ended up wearing double D’s for MrP and a black polar neck and red lips for Mondiall.
It’s important to be able to style your outfits to suit various events/situations. Say going from work to an engagement party or a day on the beach to a sunset dinner. Here’s some tips for dressing for various occasions:
1.) Always carry a lipstick in your handbag. It’s an instant way to update your outfit.
2.) Another handbag must? Hairbrush. This way you can slick you hair back into a high pony for cocktails with friends after the beach. A great evening look.
3.) Wear versatile pieces such as a pair of skinny jeans or a LBD.
4.) Slip on a pair of statement earrings.
5.) If you wearing a funky statement jacket and need to head to a more formal environment, just slip the jacket off and make sure you’ve got something classic underneath it.
6.) Lastly if you anything like me I always leave a pair of heels in my car boot for fashion emergencies.
Do you have any tips for last minute fashion changes?
