Cape Town’s endless Summer heatwave these past few weeks had me stripping down to the bare necessities and many lone walks down by the shore.
Dewy complexions, tanned skin tones and beachy hair… no need to say anything more.

Pyjama slips, buckled details and ruffled hair. Model Steffy Argerich makes dealing with the Summer heat seem effortlessly ‘cool’.
One can’t deny the chilly evenings we’ve been having which can only mean one thing… Autumn is on it’s way, and that’s not necessary a bad thing. Colder weather = sweater weather and who doesn’t love sweater weather?
One of the biggest trends on the runway this AW14 (yes because we a season behind here in South Africa) was the good old knit, from Mark Jacobs full knitted look to The Row’s chubby oversized sweaters.
Investing in a decent piece of knitwear is just as amazing as investing in that classic pure cotton white button up shirt. There’s something sexy about knitwear, not your usually cat-whistle kind of sexy but rather that mysterious who’s-that-women kind of sexy.
My current knitwear loves:

3.) Mottled crop knit from Witchery, R899 . Available online and at selected Woolworths.
