I’m currently sitting in one of my favourite London coffee shops, Clerkenwell Grind, putting this post together before having to rush off to the airport for a few days of work in Portugal. I had the most magical time road tripping through Portugal last year so I am excited to see what the country has in store for me this time around.
Ever heard of the Chaos Theory? Well it basically states that every single decade now influences our current sartorial choices. The 70’s are a trend but so are the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s.
My look in today’s post was definitely inspired by a little 70’s courtesy of my canary yellow flared trousers and aviator sunglasses, with a touch of 90’s thanks to my beaded sweetie bag and Nike Air Max 95’s. Chaos Theory.
Speaking of beaded bags, I’m so into my new one from Mango! It reminds me of my childhood days – mini plastic or beaded handbags filled with handfuls of sweets, my mom’s leftover lip ice and perhaps a Puppy in my Pocket or two. Now my beaded bag is home to my iPhone, a pack of gum and a Chanel powder palette. I guess that mean’s I’m a grown up now.

I couldn’t be happier with the latest fashion trends that have emerged from fashion week’s around the world. Miss-match prints, overtly bright colours and bold I don’t give a damn cuts, my inner child is squealing with delight.
I first started noticing this shift in trends during Copenhagen Fashion Week (CFW), no minimal scandi designs but rather a delightful array of bright pinks and greens teamed with Havaianas (yes, they having a comeback folks!) or sleek cowboy boots. Anything went at CFW.
I remember having a conversation a few months back where someone asked me what my style was and to be honest, I’ve never really had one. I dress how I feel when I wake up in the mornings and tend to enjoy flowing with the trends. However, with that being said I’ve always felt this desire to dress like the 5 year old girls I see in the playground when I walk my dog. Carefree, miss-match prints paired with a tulle skirt and a pair of bunny ears because why the hell not. CFW was a sophisticated version of that 5 year old girl.
So this weekend, in honour of my inner child, I decided to wear all the leopard print, my brightly coloured socks and baggy overalls leaving room for a cinnamon bun (or two). Here’s to my 5 year old self.

The launch for the new Michael Kors fragrance, Sexy Ruby, took place in London over two days a few weeks back and was a launch fit for a queen.
The new fragrance from Michael Kors is inspired by the unique link between seduction, strength and glamour.
“Sexy Ruby is the story of strong women. Women who know what they want and go after it.” says Michael Kors.
A sensual fragrance in a perfectly red-faceted cut gem with top notes of raspberry, apricot with dry notes of cashmere wood and vanilla bean. The perfect balance between Sexy and Ruby that entices you to Magnify Your Sexy.
Day one we were treated to a VIP experience of the London Eye and a welcome dinner at the exquisite Park Chinois in Mayfair with live entertainment and delicious Asian tapas.
Day two was just as fabulous with a private tour of the Crown Jewels before they opened to the public followed by a curated tour of the Tate Modern focuses on powerful pieces of artwork done by incredible women throughout history.
The afternoon followed with high tea at one of my favourites tea spots in London, Claridges, with MK muses Edita, Serayah, Martha, and Soo Joo in their private dining room. (No photos were allowed sadly.)
However the highlight of the two day launch was the cocktail party hosted that night at the Tate Modern. A minimalistic concert space transformed with hundreds of hanging wisteria, neon lights and velvet sofas that played true homage to the new fragrance being celebrated.
Shoutout to Michael Kors for hosting an amazing two day experience in London in honour of their new fragrance Sexy Ruby. Where fantasy meets femininity and a women is her sexiest. Magnify Your Sexy!
p.s if fruity, woody scents is your vibe make sure to check out the new fragrance next time you in store.

“It was the flashing lights, and the noise of the machines, and the loud, loud music, all seeming to refract and contract around her, her eyes widening, her hair swooshing, her slow smile shining. She seemed an actual part of the place – all fun, all joy, all shimmery skittering energy.”
A few weekends ago Carters Steam Fair pulled into town. A unique attraction consisting entering of rare vintage equipment and rides and is believed to be the largest vintage traveling funfair in the world.
We decided to make a day of it and cycled over to the funfair to try out all the rides and stuff our faces with candy floss and hotdogs. I felt like a kid again and it was truly marvellous!
Styling was kept bright, colourful and playful to match our surroundings and Justin opted for a candid approach snapping pics of me when I least expected it.
Colour is a big trend this season and I am loving all the yellows and reds. Don’t be afraid to mix and match your prints and colours – be bold and have fun!
