I little mid week inspo courtesy of the new Vanessa Mooney collection. I’m just obsessed with her new look book shot by Jason Lee Parry staring Anna Speckhart who lives in this bohemia rhapsody lounging around her pool painting all day while drinking red wine.
“This collection is about expression – unadulterated and uninhibited. Dancing to Purple Rain in the desert, standing in the sun with a protest sign. In a time of a thousand causes to fight for, it’s easy to forget how powerful a single statement can be.”
The collection is filled with door knockers and chain links and is inspired by Mooney’s memories of the eighties.
“I remember in the eighties watching Sid Vicious. He wore bike chains and chain mail, he bled on stage. In everything he did, he was making a statement. Madonna was doing the same. She wore cone bras and bows and fishnets and bondage. She made sexuality synonymous with powerful women. She had me dancing in underage clubs, with big hair and big jewelry, rolling my hips, mouthing “touched for the very first time”
Oh to live with a free spirit of an artist or a child with zero inhibitions.
Instead of using beads as Pichulik always has, this time Katherine Mary Pichulik shaped rope and cast them in brass and then gold plated them to create the eight pieces that speak of having a history but are at the same time has a modern feeling.
“In keeping with the idea that jewellery is passed down from generation to generation, the collection’s leitmotiv is the knot, a symbol of security and longevity. A knot becomes tighter over time until it cannot be undone any more.” Says Kelly Withey.
One of my comfiest outfits to date, no kidding, the sneaker and sweater dress make a mean winter combo and this crop top from adidas adds a cute playfulness to the outfit.
P.S if you looking for a pair of trainers that make you feel like you walking on sunshine these adidas ZX500’s are the perfect pair. Plus their grey leather overlay is kinda awesome. #JustSaying.

It’s 10 days to go till Alexander Wang’s highly anticipated collaboration with H&M hits the shelves. This year will be H&M’s fourteenth collaboration with a designer and the first time they’ve collaborated with an American designer.
This collection definitely takes sportswear to the next level with it’s refined tailoring, a Wang trademark, and luxurious materials. Performance clothing with a function.
The 61 piece collection is said to retail between $10 to $350 and is set to launch on 6 November 2014. Online shoppers will only be allowed to purchase two items, no more.
Below are some of my favourite items from the collection, I can’t get enough of the crisscross sports top. Wang has outdone himself… yet again!
A few days ago H&M released a teaser lookbook video that feels more like a Hollywood blockbuster featuring football star Andy Carroll and supermodels Joan Smalls, Natasha Poly, Isabeli Fontana and Raquel Zimmermann.
