I’m currently sitting in one of my favourite London coffee shops, Clerkenwell Grind, putting this post together before having to rush off to the airport for a few days of work in Portugal. I had the most magical time road tripping through Portugal last year so I am excited to see what the country has in store for me this time around.
Ever heard of the Chaos Theory? Well it basically states that every single decade now influences our current sartorial choices. The 70’s are a trend but so are the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s.
My look in today’s post was definitely inspired by a little 70’s courtesy of my canary yellow flared trousers and aviator sunglasses, with a touch of 90’s thanks to my beaded sweetie bag and Nike Air Max 95’s. Chaos Theory.
Speaking of beaded bags, I’m so into my new one from Mango! It reminds me of my childhood days – mini plastic or beaded handbags filled with handfuls of sweets, my mom’s leftover lip ice and perhaps a Puppy in my Pocket or two. Now my beaded bag is home to my iPhone, a pack of gum and a Chanel powder palette. I guess that mean’s I’m a grown up now.

Calling all 90’s fans, guess what’s back? Dungarees! A favourite childhood trend is making their way back into our wardrobes.
First spotted on the catwalks they were quickly advocated by some of my favourite fashion forward celebrities: Alexa Chung, Blake Lively and Rihanna.
Available in multiple styles for the new season, in classic stonewash denim, 90’s inspired, sporty or prints there’s something for everyone and if dungarees aren’t your thing then why not try a cute pinafore dress.
How to wear your dungarees:
1.) With a simple tee and rolled-up hems with a pair of heels for a cool casual look.
2.) For a preppy look try the pinafore dress with a white collared shirt and a pair of loafers.
3.) Try a smart black tailored pair with a shirt and heels for a trendy office look.
4.) For a slick look add a tailored blazer to your look.
5.) A pair of black dungarees can take you from day to night quite easily. Add a pair of heels, a bold lips and killer accessories and you all set. Think Olivia Palermo.

My wardrobe is currently in a state of transition with Winter on it’s way out and Summer on it’s way in. It’s that time of the year were weather is unpredictable.
During these periods is always better to invest in pieces for the upcoming season, Summer/Winter, instead of the transiting season, Spring/Autumn. This way you’ll have your wardrobe foundations organised and ready.
Currently I can not leave the house without one of my five blazers. They make the perfect transeasonal piece. Wear it when the wind starts to pick up or through it over your shoulders when things heat up a little.
I paired my almost-completely-white outfit with a pair of denim shorts but a pair of distressed boyfriend or skinny jeans would work perfectly too.
Do you have a favourite transeasonal piece?

It’s pretty well known that sportswear is having a moment in fashion. A trend that has evolved over the years and continues this season with a more minimal and luxurious feel thanks to new high tech fabrics.
It was not until I went to New York that I realised how sportswear really has taken over. Everyone, and I mean everyone, dons a pair of sneakers/trainers. I couldn’t be more happier, it’s about time fashion become comfortable.
Today’s look was one of my cycling outfits while in NY. Sporty, fresh and yet still stylish. We discovered this amazing bike store in Chinatown called Mott Street Cycles (MSC), you can create your own fixie bike for a mere $450! They have a wide selection of colours and the staff are beyond cool.
If you ever in NY a little tip… don’t use the subway, cycle! It truly is the best way to get around and see as much of the city as possible. I also highly suggest you head to MSC and check them out too.
