I’m currently sitting in one of my favourite London coffee shops, Clerkenwell Grind, putting this post together before having to rush off to the airport for a few days of work in Portugal. I had the most magical time road tripping through Portugal last year so I am excited to see what the country has in store for me this time around.
Ever heard of the Chaos Theory? Well it basically states that every single decade now influences our current sartorial choices. The 70’s are a trend but so are the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s.
My look in today’s post was definitely inspired by a little 70’s courtesy of my canary yellow flared trousers and aviator sunglasses, with a touch of 90’s thanks to my beaded sweetie bag and Nike Air Max 95’s. Chaos Theory.
Speaking of beaded bags, I’m so into my new one from Mango! It reminds me of my childhood days – mini plastic or beaded handbags filled with handfuls of sweets, my mom’s leftover lip ice and perhaps a Puppy in my Pocket or two. Now my beaded bag is home to my iPhone, a pack of gum and a Chanel powder palette. I guess that mean’s I’m a grown up now.

Latest edition to add to my styling portfolio, this magnificent and emotive black and white story shot by Justin Polkey for Fashion Gone Rouge featuring models Alena Blohm and Bryce Thompson in exclusive Calvin Klein apparel.
Justin and I collabrated on the art direction and opted to keep the story classic Calvin Klein. Nineties minimalism, clean lines and horizons, barely there make up and tousled tresses crafted by hair and make up artist Anja Fichtenmayer.
Because when one’s in Berlin one can not help but take advantage of the parquet flooring and big white walls. It’s kinda unfair that every apartment in Berlin has beautiful flooring, double volume ceilings and giant french doors. Oh and rent’s super cheap. I mean really…
In other news, the nineties called and they want their mom jeans and oversized sweater back… but I’m not ganna give them back just yet.

History always tends to repeat itself and we see how true that is through fashion. With the nineties revival on our doorsteps from minimal coats to slip dresses and overalls we can finally celebrate the comeback of our favourite style icons of the decade, think Clueless, The Craft and my favourite celebrity couple of all time: Johnny Depp and Kate Moss.
As per usual Witchery refuses to be left behind, with their constant fashion forward approach with their collections.
This collection focuses strongly on the minimalist nature of the items: tonal with clean and slim silhouettes yet keeping a modern spin throughout the collection.
My must have items from this latest Witchery collection? The sleeveless knitted maxi dress of course! It’s the perfect all round item for your wardrobe. Dress it up with a pair of heels for an evening look or play it cool in a pair of brogues and a minimal maxi coat.
The nineties have never looked so modern.
