Bookworm

Another favourite blue shade this season alongside placid blue is dazzling blue, or better known as royal blue. Seen on the runways this season of Tommy Hilfiger, Vera Wang, Pucci, Chloe and Vivienne Westwood. Why not grab some inspo from the runway this season and embrace this colour into you own wardrobe.

The fuzzy knit, a knit that is cozy and ever so stylish. Available is a wide range of colours and prints. Pair your fuzzy knit with sleek black trousers for an elegant look or with a skater skirt and stockings for a playful look like I’ve done so below.

First Blush

May 30, 2014

Is pink the new black this season? Evan pink naysayers may find themselves adorned in one of many shades of pink on offer this season.

Tone it down with a paler shade or spice things up with one of the brighter shades, it’s all on offer this season from blush pink to bubblegum pink.

With so many great winter items available in pink there’s no need to wait for temperatures to rise before donning this colour. Grab a pink fuzzy knit or a pink oversized winter coat.

There’s countless ways to wear pink: Team it up with rose gold accessories, try pink on pink or choose a pink item with florals or pop art for a little fun. A head to toe pink look too girly for you? Try adding a pale pink bag or a pair of shoes to your outfit.

I went a little crazy with my look… three shades of pink with three different prints, and I love it! Don’t fear fashion, have fun with it. And remember…

…We don’t just wear pink on Wednesday’s anymore…

Rebel with a Cause

May 22, 2014

Who said perfectly co-ordinated outfits were out of style? That’s not the case this season!

Mr Price have been producing the most amazing and budget friendly two piece set’s this season and this pastel floral print it one of my favourite one’s yet.

The two piece creates something which is as lovely as a dress but can be worn separately too. How’s that for your money’s worth? This two piece from Mr Price cost me a mere R130!!! Two items which can be worn in several ways. I do love myself a bargain.
